Bosch 6032 dishwasher not taking in water

My Bosch dishwsher recently has developed a fault, the dishwasher no longer takes in water and the crockery i put inside the machine smells slightly 'burnt' after the cycle and the dishes are still dirty.

Does anyone have a solution for the problem

Does it pump out?
Throw a couple of litres of water in there, start a cycle & see if the water disappears.
If you need specific model information you'll have to post the full "E-number" which is laser engraved on the door lip.
