I have a worchester 400 highflow RSF , when i demand hot water the central heating pump seems to be starting and continues for a short period after the demand has stopped. Any thoughts as to what this could be would be appreciated

I think its supposed to, it pumps hot water from the heat exchanger to the heat bank.
I may be wrong - if I am someone will say so very soon I dare say.

These only have one pump dont they? Needs to pump water around HW Hex.

Whats the problem anyway?

It's pump overrun dumping the excess heat into the rad circuit...least of your worries with one of these monsters!
