Hi all,
I have a 4/5 year old Bosch Classix dryer which recently started getting noisy. The sound has got worse and worse - like a graunching/banging. So we've stopped using it. I can see that the 3 rivets that hold the drum from the middle have worn away at the drum housing. The holes the rivets go into have been enlarged by a couple of mm. This presumably means the drum moves around with the weight of clothes in it, hence the noise.
Should i take the top off and put some bigger rivets in the holes, or even some smooth headed (to avoid catching on the clothes) bolts? Or should i leave it to the pro's. Or even get some kind of warranty, then call them out?
cheers for any advice,
Greg
