Bosch Classixx Slimline Dishwasher problem

Hello,

My Bosch dishwasher turns on (i.e. the red light illuminates) however there is no water enters the machine. I'm keen to check if there are any simple fixes before I call out someone as money is tight.

Any suggestions welcome!
