Everything points to the heat pump.
Trying to find a site that offers a refurb one is impossible to tell if the part numbers match and a new one just isn't economical for its age.

Do repair engineers (if they're on here) have a go to marketplace for such spares?

Anyone have one they'd sell me?

Part number is:
9000.877.349 175.1511

Cheers for any info.

Hey! I'm a fixer! What can I say!!
I repair boilers that can be kept going, contrary to what BG say!

Had the same problem a few ago. Did find a replacement and how to fit online (try espares). In the end I went to Bosch and was pleasantly surprised to find the replacement was cheaper from Bosch than from espares. Labour cost was around £100 inc.

Is this the unit?

It looks like the part AFAICT by looking up model and part numbers. Not actually taking the unit out.

But at that price it just isn't economical.

It's also now throwing up another error E15 (check water) so looks like I'll be doing what @HERTS P&D said ;)

The E15 error code on a Bosch dishwasher can mean there is too much water in the base or a water leak. To fix this, you can try these steps:
  1. Remove water from the basin
  2. Check for leaks around the base of the dishwasher
  3. Reset the safety switch
  4. Hard reset the dishwasher by unplugging it for about five minutes, then turning the power back on

This is additional to the E09 error, so, do I want to get that involved?

  • Bosch dishwasher
An E09 error code on a Bosch dishwasher indicates a defective heating element. If the salt LED is also on, the dishwasher's salt sensor may be dirty, causing the appliance to think there's salt when it hasn't been added. To prevent the heater from blowing, you can try to ensure the dishwasher has enough salt to prevent limescale buildup and run a cleaner through it occasionally.

I can use Google too you know!
:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ;)

Test to see if it is heating element or something else first
parts or pump here https://www.google.com/search?q=hea...AGIAEGMkDmAMAkgcEMTYuNaAHqZ0B&sclient=gws-wiz

Sorted the E15 error... Missus was putting it on, thinking it was working! The cold water didn't dissolve the soap and this clogged the drain.

So, back to the heat pump issue.

Just opened it up.

This don't look good!

This is exactly my machine.
Best video so far.

OL on heater terminals so looks like element.

Just not sure if water in the bottom is a problem? Looked grimy so maybe just a build up over time?
