Bosch Dishwasher Error

Hi All,

Dishwasher has popped up with an error, tap symbol light illuminated. Dishwasher is SGV53e33GB/10 but I think the slightly older model. I have done the basic checks Bosch advise but no luck so far.

Error first seem to arise towards the end of a cycle where it just never ended. Opened machine after it being on for a couple hours as I was out. All dishes inside were clean and dried so error occurred after. Now won’t start other than a pool of water in the bottom but spray arms don’t activate. All appears to drain fine when triggered.

Could it be limescale? Have you confirmed water to the machine?

Water is definitely coming into the machine however is being drained. After testing many things my guess is flow meter or float switch but as it stands I don’t know which and I’m not sure how to identify without changing parts out

Maybe call an appliance engineer or have Bosch out?

flow meter just solder a new read switch on it a 10p job
