Bosch Dishwasher - fuses

Hiya,

I filled my dishwasher last night turned it on and it tripped the fuse box in the house Once i had been to the fuse box and flicked the switch, i found that i could smell burning near the dishwasher, i think coming from the back of the machine.

The dishwasher does not try to fill with water. I have tried changing the fuse, but this makes no difference. Does anyone have any ideas.

As i side note, I am finding that it is starting to smell? I was wondering if there was a blockage, could this cause the system to fuse?
