Yesterday evening I had a sink blockage in the kitchen. I used a plunger to clear the blockage but think that the forced water has gone into the dishwasher. Now the machine's pump seems to operate continuously even when I open the door. Also, the machine refuses to go into the normal programme mode. From looking at similar posts, is it possible that the base has flooded (and if so, how did the water get into the base from the waste pipe?). Any help appreciated.
