Hi
I have a Bosch SMS40A08GB Dishwasher that is 4 years old.
Everything worked fine up to few days ago when my RCD on the main fuse board tripped about 10 minutes into the cycle.
I reset the RCD and aborted the cycle - the water pumped out fine.
This happened a few times so I resigned myself to getting a new machine, suspecting it was the heating element and it might be more cost effective to go for a new unit with a 2 year warranty.
Having selected a suitable model on offer at Currys I thought I'd try the old machine one more time. Guess what - no tripping and the water heated up fine.
Assuming it's not the heating element that caused it to trip in the first place, is there anything else you can suggest I do to avoid it happening again in the future?
Thanks, Steve
