my bosch dishwasher was running fine but then with a strange noise stopped working....i opened and there is water at the bottom.....anyone knows what could be wrong......

Water staying inside machine after a strange noise could be the drain pump not running/impeller jammed
I have found all sorts in the pump stopping it from rotating and pumping out the waste water and strange sounds as the pump trys to mangle the bits through before stopping
