i have a bosch dishwasher .water not getting hot also programme stays on for a very long time .can anyone help please

What is a 'long time' ? If it is sitting on a programme setting it is probably the 'heat water' setting and its waiting for the water to reach its desired temp before proceeding. Probably the heating element has gone.
