This dishwasher does not clean the cutleries as it uses to before (the plates come out partially washed and still some bits stuck to them). This problem started recently and I added dishwasher slat but the problem still the same, what is the likely cause? It works fine apart from this problem.

Have you checked the spinning arms are not blocked and free to rotate?

Try stopping the machine in mid cycle and opening the door......is there plenty of water in there?
