Bosch Excell 1100 Leaking foam and water from powder tray

Hi, ive got a Bosch 1100 Washing machine. When i use it foam and water **** out from the powder tray. There is also loads of foam in the drum at the end of the wash. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix the problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What sort of powder and other products are you using?

Have you recently moved to a soft water area?

i'm just using Daz powder nothing else. I've had the machine for about 6 months second hand and this hasn't happened before. I did put a lot of stuff in the machine, but i dont think i overloaded it. I've lived here for 2 years and never had the same problem.

Hahahahaha yeah that's the one! That's what i get for never going shopping and letting the missis do it. Haha cheers mate.

Give it a rinse out quick wash (no clothes) with a double dose of Fab Soft instead of powder in the wash cyclce - it suppresses foam.

Next time you wash those same things it may overfoam again from powder residue - add fabsoft to suppress it.
