Bosch Excell dishwasher - check water

Hi,
Bought this for my wife for Xmas last year as previous bosch had died. (Not the best of reactions on Xmas day). Have lost receipt and supplier no longer exists - bosch say 2 year guarantee needs to have paperwork - serial number isn't good enough - so I'm snookered on that front.

Anyway - d/w now doesn't work properly - the 'check water' light comes on constantly - programme takes 8 hours to complete - imperfectly.

water supply is good as far as dishwasher - inlet filter is clean - internal pump (at bottom has been cleared out. Any ideas on cause / remedy - i am not wanting to call in repair guy as I can't afford to.

Any help greatly appreciated as I don't think a new pair of Marigold gloves will be appreciated by her Ladyship for Xmas this year.

if you find that its filling and draing continoulsy the impeller jug is up the duff, however if its just draining cont there theres a leak and water has got into the base thats a safety feature stop it flooding your house
