Bosch Exxcel 1200 washing maching

Hi

Our Bosch washing machine seems to be working in the mechanical sense, water goes in and the machine starts etc. Problem is, regardless of the washing powder used, we get no suds and hence the clothes do not get washed.

Any ideas, solutions?

Are you putting it in the right tray?
Does the drum actually rotate?
