I have a Bosch Exxcel 1400 express (Typ WLM3) which i bought 2nd hand. It has worked well for some months.
Today it shorts and trips the RCCB switch after about three minutes on a 30 degree wash. I tried turning it on a couple of times after resetting the RCCB switch but it instantly tripped it again.
I succesfully drained and spun it and then tried it on again - It worked again on 30 degrees for a few minutes while filling up - but then tripped the RCCB again. I switched to a cold wash and that is now working. I guess its a water heater element earth fault dependent on hight of water in drum.
Is it worth me trying to get it fixed or should I just chuck it and buy a new machine?
