Bosch Exxcel 1400 not draining or spinning

Hi, the above washing machine has stopped draining and spinning,it goes through the wash cycle and then stops.I have cleaned out the detergent tray and it worked well for another two washes,though these were half loads.Now it won't drain or spin again.
Is there anything else I can check before calling the repairman?
