Bosch Exxcel Washer Dryer (WVD2452BGB) problem!

My Bosch Exxcel Washer Dryer (WVD2452BGB) has a problem. The washer heater element seemingly broke, so I replaced it. Now when I try a wash cycle, it seems to take longer than expected, constantly run water through the detergent drawer (on the main compartment), and won't drain properly - probably because of the water from the detergent drawer constantly running. Also the water doesn't feel warm at all either.

Any suggestions as to why this would be?

Constant running is usually down to anti flood mode activating if your appliance has this then check theres no water in the base inside appliance or if the appliance has its drain hose pushed into a standpipe pipe on the wall make sure the hose isnt pushed too far down as this can cause syphoning

It does have anti-flood, as far as i'm aware. There's no water in the inside, on the base of the appliance. The drain hose is exactly as it was before this started to happen, I haven't changed it.
