Thought I would ask on the off chance. We purchased a new home in September, the dishwasher that was fitted makes a howling/groaning noise. It is incredibley loud and freaks our cat out who then starts growling.
It has been difficult to pinpoint when the noise occurs as the length of time the noise arises isn’t always the same.
I do know the noise isn’t made when it drains as we can hear the water.
My thoughts are water inlet valve but they seem pricey on the off chance that’s the cause. We have cleaned the filters and checked the accessible spinning parts and eveything appears to be okay.
Has any one had similar experiences?
