Hello,
I have a Bosch Logixx 1400 washing machine that seems to have developed a problem. The washing machine is about 10 years old.
On occasion, when I run a normal was cycle, at the end of the cycle the machine beeps to tell me that it is finished. Almost immediately, the washing machine starts to fill with water again. Turning the machine off or pushing any of the buttons does nothing to stop this behaviour. The only way I can get it to stop is to turn the water off at the tap that the connecting hose is fitted to thus shutting off the source of water. I can then drain and spin the machine as usual. After a while, I am able to turn the water back on and the machine often operates as usual. It will often run a number of normal runs without exhibiting this behaviour - indeed I have had a period of a couple of months where the machine has run as normal - but without warning it can then start exhibiting the same problem again.
Anyone have any idea why the washing machine might be doing this and have any ideas as to what a potential fix might be?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Marcus
