Bosch machine intermittent on emptying

Washer intermittent on emptying, sometime works, then suddenly doesnt empty.On draining off water often will work again for a further three cycles then same again. Checked for blocks, nothing found in any of the pipes or pump. I suspect but not convinced it could be a lagging pump.
