Bosch Maxx WFL245S - Softener tray filling with water

Hi,
hope somebody can help, i have a BOSCH MAXX245S washing machine, unfortunately the softener tray keeps filling with water everytime it's used.

has anyone any ideas why this is happening and how to stop it?
