We have a Bosch oven HBN412AGB/06 which is 25 years old.

3 years ago the element in the lower oven failed, I replaced it with https://www.espares.co.uk/product/es1562614. It was quite easy to change.

Unfortunately it's just failed again (fan motor seems OK). Is it worth another £32 for an element, or should we bite the bullet and change the whole thing.

Depends on oven condition.
I tend to lean towards repairing stuff even if old.
£32 is nothing to spend

I find that the fan element of our oven gets constant use and only lasts a few years. I just keep changing it as it fails. I have tried compatible ones like your espares version and the hideously expensive original parts from the oven manufacturer, none last more than a few years. I guess that if you change the oven you will still need to change the element every few years, I treat them as a consumable part like a lamp.
