Bosch washer acting up

hi,
i have a Bosch washing machine with the #'s M662 , and WFK2401UC (everything's written in German so i am not sure if those are model #'s or what) but anyhows, it's filling up with water, and then does nothing (never goes to "agitate" mode. Is there a replaceable switch, or should i look for something else? Thing cost $1100 US, so it must be a good washer, i just am not familiar with such units, and i don't want to start tearing it apart. Any help is greatly appreciated

try setting it to a spin only cycle. if it doesn't spin then remove the back cover from the machine, with it unplugged give either side of the motor a few taps with a screwdriver or similar. try the spin again. if it spins this time the it's a sure bet that your carbons are worn. these can be either tricky or very easy depending on the motor thats fitted. post again after you've tried the spin.
