Bosch Washing machine Error F17

Hi,

I have a intermittent error F17. Sometimes the machine works fine, some other days it shows this error after 10-20 minutes after starting.

After the error, I click the starting button and the machine restarts without problems until the end of the washing.

I checked the filters, in and out, and they are clean.

I read that it could be the a faulty inlet valve or the door not being closed properly, but it is a bit difficult to understand if the problem arrives so randomly.

Any idea?

Try replacing door switch as easy job.
Most machines you break off. Then clip new one on.
They clip on but impossible to remove without breaking I find. Depends on design.
Take lid off and you can grab door switch from the top sometimes.
It is not uncommon to get these problems and resetting machine will fix it for a while before playing up again.

Pump. Door sensor. Pressure sensor are just a few things that get temperamental. I think they just get a bit of damp corrosion or just wear out. Just play part darts if its cheap enough..
