Dear All,
I have a Bosch classix 1000, about 6 years old.
I've had a good look at this and other websites but have not worked out what's the problem.
Symptoms:
When selecting a wash programme all lights light up as expected in the usualy sewuence. But no action.
No filling and no drum rotation.
Pipes to machine supplying adequate water pressure, no kinks etc.
Filter between supply pipe and maching nice and clean.
Drain motor paddles spin nicely, not coins etc there.
If I fill the machine manually it drains nornmally, but drum does not rotate.
There's no leaks from the inlet valves.
So I tried:
Taking the motor out- the Brushes are about 2cm long each, & not darked so I assume ok.
Not sure what to do next or how to test the motor (i've read here that there's ain internal fuse, but not sure how to test for it- I have a multimeter but will need a dummies guide to know where to put the leads).
There's also a black pipe with thickened wallts that goes to a sort of pressure switch. I assume it's what senses the filling and stops it filluing when just right. If I blow gently into the switch it clicks nicely, so that seems ok too.
All suggestions much appreciated,
& best wishes to all
