My Bosch Maxx WFL 2260 stopped spinning, so I took it apart and changed the carbon brushes. On the occasion I noticed that the detergent tray wasn't being flushed well, so I thought the assembly might need cleaning. I removed the tray and tried to get the faceplate off by unscrewing the three Torx screws around the tray. That didn't get me very far, so I gave up and reinserted the screws. Now the top two ones are stuck: I can't tighten them because they aren't holding anywhere, but I can't get them back out either. (The bottom one is okay.) I've tried to pry them out with all manner of things, including tweezers, dental floss and Blu-Tack -- no luck. It's doubly annoying because with the screws sitting where they are, the tray won't go in any more. Hoping for a useful hint here... thanks.

Update: I managed to get the screws out by taking the faceplate off and pushing them back through the front hole with a power drill. They were the wrong ones, of course. Washing machine is assembled again and running fine now.

the obvious suggestion is one or more off the components are misaligned
so check for proper alignment and properly located
