I have an old Bosh WAT 2000 tumble drier that has stopped heating during rotation of the drum. Have tried pressing the red button on the back to no avail. It no longer gives a click like it used to. Also, the door hinge has been broken for some time with no cheap replacement.
Firstly, as it is old and not as efficient as recent models, is it better to replace with new and cut my losses or is the problem fixable ? I have no way of telling if it's a heating element or stat that is at fault.
Secondly, what replacement would be recommended (good running costs) that is the same type and size ?
Thanks
