Bosch WFB 2405 - intermitent pump

I have a Bosch WFB2405 (dishwasher) 6 years old and the pump sometimes doesn`t pump out waste water on final spin
Have taken pump out and checked for any blockages and found none. You know when it isn`t working as the pump is excessively noisy and rattles other times it is quiet and works fine
Could it be the control panel sending a weak signal to the pump on certain programmes
Is it worth putting in new pump or just scrap it?
If theres anybody out there please help

Certainly the pump that's had it and well worth a replacement
