washing machine stopped working, pulled the control fascia panel out which houses the main control pcb and there were a few burnt out tracks on it
is it possible to get the pcb repaired or shall i just junk the machine and get new,its about 4 years old

if they are truly burnt out (not just warm) you have to ask "why" i would be inclined to get a new m/c

You can have the board repaired by a company called Quality Electronics Repairs (www.qer.biz). They repair PCBs for almost all home appliances. Log-in to their website, click on SEARCH ITEM/ORDER, type in the circuit board number - which should be printed on the board itself, sometimes only the digits works, for example if the number printed on the board is ABC 12345, then try the full number first without commas, dasher or space, if this does not work then try only 12345 only. I believe that Bosch has AKO boards and the numbers start with AKO - and it will display the image of the board - well in most cases - and will also display the price. It will cost you around £50. Cheaper than replacing the machine and if the machine lasts you for another couple of years then you got your money worth. Pay them via PayPal and send the board to them for repairs. All the details are on their website.
