Bosch WM (Model WFXi 25840) - Help - Drum does not spin

Can anyone help?
I have a Bosch washing machine (Model WFXi 25840) - During the wash programme today the wm took in water & progressed through the programmes & the water drained but the drum did not spin throughout the process. Would this be a brush problem? if not any ideas where to start.

Ok I have removed the motor off of its housing, disconnected the electrical connections & got the motor out of the machine.

How do the brushes come out??

I have just put my tester on the opposite brushes & I do have a current running through the motor!!

Could well be the brushes, on some Bosch motors the end casing has to be removed to access the brushes. If you find your model on the LHS of this page http://www.espares.co.uk/parts/washing-machines/carbon-brushes/bosch/p/1554/856 you may get a better idea of whats needed.
