Bossed connection to soil seems to cause gurgling

This arrangement with the sink waste boss (blue arrow) seems to be causing some crazy gurgling sounds from the sink. Can anyone offer any advice?

The bath waste boss (green arrow) doesn't gurgle at all. It seems like bossing in before the SVP causes some kind of vacuum? No blockages, I've checked.

The way I see it my options are - divert the boss into the vertical SVP part (don't fully understand the physics that mean that doesn't seem to gurgle), or maybe add a air admittance valve on the sink trap?

Try an Anti Vac trap firstly, if no difference then take it straight into the main stack, see if that helps.
