Just had a survey done on a stone house I'm buying. It has a single story extension built in 2007 built with bricks and cavity with planning and building reg Certs. The survey came back saying a wall on the extension was bowing. I've got a guy going out to have a look, but as a heads up any ideas?
Surely ties would have been used to pass building regs. Can anything else cause it to bow? There is no heavy plant or traffic that passes only the odd one man and his dog.
