Going to replace the Box section steel roof on my single slope garage roof. The garage is abutted to the gable end of the house. My question is this. It looks at present like the old roofing sheets ( 5.2m Long ) are abutted hard up against the wall of the house. They are supported by a Rigibar system. Should there be an expansion gap here ( say 25mm.) between the house wall and top of steel sheet. I would imagine there would be a bit of expansion in a 5.2 m continuous roofing sheet
