boxer c24 hot water problems

We have a boxer c24 combi boiler and we are having problems with the hot water,the hot water keeps going hot and cold as the boiler fires up the water gets hot then it switches off for a few seconds and then fires up again,we have replaced the top of the diverter valve and cured the central heating problems we have changed the low water switch and the manual air vent and also replaced the thermisters i know these boilers are not that good but we need to keep it going for a while has anybody got any ideas

Never heard of a boxer but smptoms would possibly suggest blocked primary side of plate heat exchanger

Don't know these Ideal boilers.

Does it have a HW plate HE? If so this will be blocked/sludged up causing the boiler to go to overheat and shut down, then cool and start again, etc etc.

If you read a little about it then you may change your mind aboiut keeping it going!

It does sound like a blocked plate HE though.
