I'm currently trying to renovate the kitchen on a somewhat low budget!
The first hurdle is the pipes coming from the boiler and them being mounted on the wall that's coming down. I've been quoted 1k to move the three pipes into the ceiling!
I'm thinking about just leaving them in place and boxing it all in with the RSJ. But since ones a gas pipe, it'll need to be ventilated. Could I box in the RSJ with the fire board first so it's all encased, and then box the pipes in?
Or should I just bite the bullet and pay to move the pipes?
