Hi,

I need advice on a cheap and cheerful heavy duty drill/ kango that can help me bring out a drain pipe for a ground floor shower.

I need to drill a hole from my outside brick wall, then into concrete filled cavity, then concrete block on the inside and then through 30cm length of concrete floor to make way for a 40 mm plastic drain pipe for a new shower that I am installing downstairs?

Have already done the 50mm hole through the brick wall (just outside) using my 500W black & decker hammer drill but I would not risk that one for any more into concrete.

Would this one from screwfix help:

The 50mm drill bit I am using is the following TCT core drill:

I also have the extending arm for both SDS and HEX drills for these TCT drills.

Your advice is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Thought of a shower tray but I've an awkward size of around 95 by 105 cm.

I was thinking of making a nicely tiled shower/ wet room as that would utilize the full space.

Also if I don't dig the floor, the drain pipe would come out of wall in the garden at a point which would be visible from outside.
