Just about to start on a a major part of restoration.
I'm all set to go down this route
http://dreieck.co.uk/renovation-heritage-old-build...
using
https://www.mikewye.co.uk/product/foam-glass-insul...
I'll be laying UFH in it. 150mm of insulation, 100mm slab with the pipes in.
My only worry is how long it might be before I can put sandstone flags down on top.
I've about 65 sq M to do.
I've NO dpc, stone/cob walls, had lots of joy with lime plaster.
Due to needing to leave it about 3 weeks to cover, i'm wondering if there's another option?
Possibly a hybrid floor, just using limecrete at one edge of the property where its more likely to be damp due to slightly raised external levels. This means I'd be able to get the floor covering down after about 4 days.
Thoughts!?
