I've just finished re rendering an old house with a lime based product by Baumit. The render needs painting now but needs to maintain its breathable qualities.
Is there a decent breathable paint available?
The problem I have is over half the house is relatively new compared to the rest of the building - an extension put up in the late 90s. This can be painted in a bog standard masonry.
What I don't want is for the customer to fork out on an expensive eco paint for the whole house re paint when only the front part of it needs the breathability.
I could get her to choose a colour from an eco paint chart then get it colour matched for the newer part of the house in a normal masonry paint.
Thanks in advance
