"Buying a round of drinks in the pub is an analogy that hits home for the British. And the European Union knows it.

That’s how the EU Commission chose to explain why Prime Minister Theresa May must settle the U.K.’s budget commitments in full, estimated at 60 billion euros (US$64 billion), when it leaves the bloc’s remaining 27 countries in an estimated two years’ time.

“It is like going to the pub with 27 friends: You order a round of beer, but then you cannot leave while the party continues; you still need to pay for the round you ordered,” Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas told reporters in Brussels on Tuesday."

A round at the pub ......doesn't everyone normally buy a round ? So the idiots at the EU think it's like that in the EU ? Err maybe six are buying a round the rest are freeloaders and don't buy a round .........no wonder brexit WON THE DAY !

Well then. It makes perfect sense to stay in the pub. Only a fool wouldn't hang around and reap the others rounds. (y)

That's the point the vast majority never get a round ! That's why out is good . You know that the majority take more out of the EU than contribute ...yes no ?

Look at the soddin figures .......or are you a bit slow at cottoning on the some people NEVER get a round ?

Euuu. No scratching allowed unfortunately, sorry but they're very unhealthy and offensive. It's for the best. Thanks for your anticipated cooperation. Cheers (y)

You don't know ? Perhaps you should educate yourself on who pays in and who gets paid out.
You obviously don't know .......you'd still be waiting for the round when everyone's left. Poor suckered sod.

After the UK stop buying rounds, the EU wont be able to find a replacement.

There simply are no other countries that can join with anything like a similar economy. Maybe Juncker is hoping Albania and Montenegro could chip in for his cognac and private jet fund........and his pension:)

All those the waiting list are unlikely to be net contributors.

They might have to turn the thumb screws on Greece more. Especially now their youth unemployment is down to 42%

It's going to implode I have absolutely no doubt, the original common market as I understand it was an ok thing. But this EU superstate ideology was never on the cards.

The bubble is going to burst ....then we'll have to man the machine guns on the beaches ( there's a scool of thought that thinks the elite in Europe will make for our shores in the event of a collapse of the euro )....Obviously for dear John this is a hyperbole but he doesn't seem to get the concept......still harps on about the red battle bus.

For Johnny dear .....http://www.dictionary.com/browse/hyperbole do you understand now? Silly me your on my ignore list I won't see your reply.
