Brick acid stains (again)

I sprayed brick acid on a bad stain on the gable harling caused by a leak from the boiler in the loft. I didn't rinse quickly enough and it's left a light brown stain down the light colour harling. It's like it's burned the mortar

Yeah it's acid so will have done.

The acid should be diluted.

No way to fix it other than re-point the stained mortar
