I just had my front pressure washed and would like to help minimise weed growth. I was thinking about dried kiln sand and brushing sealer over the top like this -

My question is, if I was to apply the seal, would this prevent the sand from blowing out of the gaps when I get it cleaned again or during heavy winds etc? Thanks in advance!
