dear all

My house (1993 built detached) has an integrated garage. The interior wall of the garage is made of concrete blocks except a small section near the garage door which is brick. I found one brick (just one) near the floor has a vertical crack about 0.5 mm wide. It looks like it was the result of some drilling by previous owner (there is a kind of small hole at the top of the brick).

Is there any easy way to repair the brick, e.g. filling the crack?

The other thing is the bricks used in the garage interior wall seem to be quite different from those of the outside wall of the house. The quality of the bricks and pointing are not as good (maybe that 's why the crack). Is this a common practice?

Thanks!

A single cracked brick does not need any repairing, or any worrying about

External bricks are called facing bricks and are pointed to look nice, but any old bricks will do for internal garage walls, and this has nothing to do with the cracked brick
