Hi all, thanks in advance for the help
We've just had a side door bricked up in preparation for a new kitchen installation. I've got concerns over the insulation and wanted a second opinion before starting to dispute.
They've used thermalite blocks for the external wall, which is rendered so that appears OK to me.
Then a timber frame for the internal wall, and plasterboard. No cavity insulation. I initially asked the builder what insulation he's used, to which he replied thermalite blocks and insulation board on the inside.
I've attached a picture of the board... it looks like regular plasterboard to me!
Am I being thick? Or do I get him back to put some insulation in? Inner wall has not been skimmed so easier to do now...
Thanks
