Hi All

Any Architects out there?

Because of my Son having to use a Powered Wheelchair; the local Social Services have just paid for a ramp from outside his lobby area floor level through French Doors to ground level (ish but that another problem) approx an 8” drop so 5 metre along side one side of the house. They insisted on it being laid in concrete.

However now that I’ve been able to see it in daylight I see they have bridged the house DPC but have not put in a vertical DPC and poured concrete right up to the house.

Any ideas of the best resolution?

TIA

Mike

Oh dear

Get them back to correct it. Other than that, it would have to be cut back and put a small metal grid or drainage channel with grid from the house to the ramp to allow the rain to run through it

Hi

They are coming out tomorrow to see what they think is a problem with the path level. I have to says I can't wait to see their faces when I put it to them that they can rip it up!!!!
