Guys,
I have a Bristan Artisan shower in the bathroom, I have a problem in that the valve to turn it on/off is very stiff, meaning with wet hands it will not turn.
During the last central heating service, I had the engineer look at the valve, he removed it and lubricated it, and for four months its been fine, now like before it is stiff to turn.
I think the part number of the valve is : http://www.bristan.com/epages/Bristan.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Bristan/Products/00650436
(Valve 3/4 8/20 for AR SHCSM C)
Although I can find a number of instructions on the web on how to change the Thermostatic Cartidge, I can not find any for this valve..
So the question is.. does the collecitve think that changing this part will cure the difficulty of the shower...
and
how do i change it..
is it a case of kill the water and unscrew.. if so what should i watch for?
Cheers
