Hi Folks, my Wireless Receiver has been flashing red 'Alarm' light constantly for couple of weeks - this morning the RC1 purely displayed a thermometer sign and then the display failed; have changed the batteries but the display will not return, the Alarm light is (now) a constant red. Apart from trying fresh batteries (the ones used were new pack) any other recommendations/tips/tricks?

I had a problem changing the batteries they are a bit fiddly to get in and the contacts can bend, recheck them (and polarity too for good measure) that might do the trick
And if that fails assuming the unit is easily detachable not being wired you could try taking it closer to help them to get acquainted!
