hi can anyone help
i have just purchased a house, with britony boiler combi 80,, it was off for 2 weeks , then i put the central heating was fine, but when i turned the hot water tap , no hot water...
also when i turn the hot water off the central heating turns off
i have to press the reset button to turn it on again
can anyone help with this please

I cannot guess from what you say what the problem(s) might be.

All I can suggest is that you do what most people would do and call a competent CORGI boiler engineer.

I hope that your surveyor warned you that the boiler was old and in need of imminent replacement?

Flow switch could be the problem.
