Hi,

I have an old Honeywell analog thermostat in the hall way and the dial keeps falling off it. I am not sure if I have aligned it correctly when putting the dial back on. Is there a specific way of doing it? Also, what temperature should the dial read when the thermostat clicks on?

Thanks in advance.

Usually there is a notch on the back of the dial that mates to a notch on the thermostat. just line that up and get a bit of bluetac on it.

just change it ( if you keep altering the dial ), you can't fix them without a bodge . if you keep the same temp all the time just leave it if you don't want to spend the £10 - £ 20 , you can change it yourself , just get the same therm to make it easier for yourself if not elec confident
