Broken Indesit WD 12X

Hi. The three plastic cogs attached to the inside of the drum have all broken away (small plastic clips have been shattered on all three turners). Happened in one single wash i believe. Something that may be related is a metal collar stiffener which disappeared in the same wash (any ideas where)? Any help would be appreciated as I'm facing the dilemna of paying €125 for Indesit to take a look or simply buying a new machine.

check the filter for collar stiffner .also you can buy the lifters of ebay or indesit they just clip in cost about £8/ 10 each .you need 3 of them

Thanks Rocks. Was just a little concerned over what may have broken the lifters in the first place. Every clip on all three 'lifters' (every day's a school day!) is broken off.

trainers in the wash or 1 bath mat or towel knocks them out ,they just clip in you can cable tie them in there was a post a few monthes back regarding a hotpoint mc the guy put pics of them cable tied in they wont move again.

BTW where do I clear out all the plastic bits that have previously broken off?

in the filter at the front ,bottom right may take a few days to come though.
